Information:

This is a reminder that any hose containing any liquid or gas under pressure has the potential to cause injury if the pressure is released in an uncontrolled manner and this needs to be catered for in the design and installation of any system using hoses, particularly where quick release couplings are used.

The use of safety clips or other restraining devices should be used on any coupling where an uncontrolled uncoupling of the hose could be a hazard to anyone within range.
